Keynote and CareGivers make NYS claiming history
Mr. Flitt’s message lauded the unprecedented results following completion of a 4-year audit by the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General.
The audit period included over 330, 000 claims and the audit revealed that they were “rendered in accordance with the patient’s plan of care; the agency had sufficient documentation to substantiate billed services, appropriate documentation was maintained in patient and personnel records and claims for payment were submitted in accordance with New York State laws, Department regulations and the Provider manuals for Personal Care Services.”
